I will overwhelm 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
